Know your silhouette

Every garment has a shape. Every body, a story. Learning to read silhouettes is the first step to dressing with intention and purpose.

TYPES OF TOP SILHOUETTES

straight

It falls uniformly from the shoulders or hips. It doesn't cling to or hang loosely from the body; it simply flows. It's the most versatile silhouette in the wardrobe and the best ally for minimalism.

ADJUSTED

It adapts to the body's shape, following its curves. It defines the figure without restricting movement. Ideal for looks that want to say "I'm here" effortlessly.

oversize

Roomy, comfortable, deliberate. When used with intention, it becomes one of contemporary fashion’s most elegant resources.

REGULAR FIT

Garment with a balanced and proportionate cut that follows the natural shape of the body without being too tight or too loose. Offers a comfortable and uniform fit.

PEPLUM

It has a flounce or ruffle at the bottom that starts at the waist. It adds movement and femininity, and is especially flattering for enhancing the figure.

ASYMMETRICAL

A design in which the sides or ends of the garment are not symmetrical, creating irregular lines and uneven cuts that add movement, originality, and a modern touch to the look.

TYPES OF BOTTOM SILHOUETTES

WIDE LEG / PALAZZO

Very wide leg from hip to ankle. It has drape and presence. Best when paired with a more structured or fitted top.

KNICKERS

Roomy, comfortable, deliberate. When used with intent, it becomes one of contemporary fashion's most elegant resources.

FLARE

Fitted at the top and flares from the knee down. Elongates the figure and adds
movement with every step.

JOGGER

Loose at the hips and thighs, gathered into a tight cuff at the ankle. Comfortable and voluminous in the middle, but controlled at the ends. Ideal for casual looks.

POSITION

Straight or slightly loose, with side pockets that are part of the design. It has a utilitarian and structured feel. It works for both casual looks and more elaborate combinations.

STRAIGHT

Uniform drop from hip to ankle without clinging or flaring. Clean, well-proportioned, and easy to wear. It is the most neutral cut.
